  • Overview

The Tragus group is one of the largest independent restaurant chains in the UK with 154 restaurants across the country, and one restaurant in Jersey. Tragus now has a turnover in excess of £100m, with three new restaurants opened in the last 6 months and more in the pipeline. The company was formed in 2002 through the acquisition of the Pelican and BrightReasons businesses from Whitbread. Following the acquisition Tragus had 6 months to set-up new
systems independent from Whitbread. Among other changes to their financial and accounting systems, Tragus had to look at new ways to deliver the 3 separate payrolls within the company.
