Overview
The primary objective was to bring published performance and scalability data up to date, so as to reflect the ongoing performance enhancement work that has gone into SunSystems and to show the merits of contemporary server hardware and system architecture. While a number of different test scenarios were conducted the primary goals were to show:
1) Scalability characteristics of core SunSystems functions, including
multi-server scale-out capability.
2) The behaviour in the context of a mixed function scenario.
3) The raw throughput capabilities and scalability of SunSystems Connect (SSC)
