Overview

One of the main drivers behind an organisation's desire to invest in anti-malware software can be stated quite simply: no one wants to get infected with malware. While the problem of malware has gotten far worse in the last five years (and shows no signs of abating for the foreseeable future), the reality is that these problems have existed in some form or another for decades and as the challenges to fighting malware continue to grow, those with deep knowledge of the industry understand that malware defense is clearly a "big data" problem.
