Overview

This paper, from analysts ESG, looks at how you can virtualise storage using vSphere VSA without changing your hardware, it explains how the management system works and provides technical guidance for set-up.

Basically, we know from our research that around 70% of enterprises are using vSphere - the VMware virtualisation product. What this paper does is show them now they can use that system to get free storage virtualisation. Normally product pushes aren't too great - you can see why this would work.
